Identity verification

Before a payout leaves Mizora we check that the account belongs to you. It is two photos and three fields, it is looked at by a person, and it is the only time we ask.

Nothing is blocked yet. You can trade and grow an account without this. It is the payout that needs it, so most traders do it in the first week and forget about it.

What we need 身分

  1. A photo of a government IDA passport page, a driving licence or a national ID card. In date, all four corners in frame, nothing covered by a finger.
  2. A selfie holding that same IDYour face and the document in one shot, both readable. Same document as the first photo.
  3. Your legal name, date of birth and countryExactly as they are printed on the document. A name that does not match is the usual reason a check fails.

We keep the decision, your legal name, date of birth and country, not the pictures. A HEIC file from an iPhone, or a PDF, is stored exactly as you sent it, so if you would rather not include the location the photo was taken, send a JPEG or a screenshot instead. Mizora will never ask for your password, a card number or a seed phrase, here or anywhere else.

JPEG, PNG, HEIC or PDF, up to 12MB each. On a phone the camera button opens the camera straight away.

Sending these replaces anything you sent before. You can send a new set up to five times a day; after that support will take over by hand.

What makes a photo fail 注意

Almost every check that comes back is one of these six, and all six are quicker to avoid than to fix.

GlareA flash or a ceiling light bouncing off the laminate wipes out the name or the number. Turn the flash off and angle the card away from the light.
BlurRest your hands on a table, or lay the document flat and hold the phone above it. If you cannot read it on your own screen, neither can we.
Cropped cornersAll four corners inside the frame, with a little space around them. A cut corner means the document cannot be checked as whole.
Expired documentThe expiry date has to be in the future on the day you send it. An expired passport is the single most common rejection.
A different document in the selfieThe ID in your hand has to be the same one you photographed, the same way round, readable in both shots.
A name that does not matchThe legal name above must match the document character for character, middle names included. Nicknames and shortened forms fail.

Still stuck after two tries, open a ticket and a person will go through it with you rather than sending it back again.
